For the planet

At Mavala, we want to be active in preserving our planet by adopting eco-responsible actions when designing our packaging, manufacturing and marketing our products.

Some examples of initiatives we have put in place:

– We have removed the plastic cellophane used to protect the cardboard boxes of our products. This allows us to reduce our plastic consumption.

– In order to reduce waste, we have removed the leaflets from our miniatures and opted for printing the inside of the boxes.

– We mainly use recyclable materials, such as PET or cardboard for our Swiss Skin Solution boxes and bottles. Our recent Swiss Skin Solution developments use tubes containing recycled plastic and cardboard from sustainably managed forests (FSC).

For education

Since its creation in 1959, MAVALA wanted to support beauty professionals in good skin care practices. Therefore, the brand founded its first school in 1969 in London. Since then, the MAVALA diploma course has developed and the brand is now a partner of 45 beauty schools in France, England and Belgium.
